I am a music artist known as Empress Conscious Plat. I am a singer. writer. rapper, poet and producer.  I have created many songs about peace, unity, awareness and elevating your mind. I have various songs and poems online under my name Conscious Plat. Many are familiar with my poem My Sistah, my song I'm a Queen and many other songs I have released. I began singing at nine years old. I was writing songs by eleven years old. My mother would often enter me into talent shows and after winning many first-place titles she encouraged me to pursue singing by joining her and my grandmother in their singing group. We did a lot of charity work with our music. We would sing in homeless shelters, hospitals for sick children, and also various local music showcases. We sung together for years until my grandmother passed away. The group disbanded. I stopped singing for a few years but later in life I began singing solo. I started out singing and writing songs about topics that were meaningless. It wasn't until I elevated my mind that I decided to uplift others with my music. Currently my songs are positive and uplifting. I label my songs as message music. Topics like unity, knowing your self worth, elevating your mind and many other messages are vital for mental growth and raising your vibrations. My mission is to spread knowledge and reach many through my music.       

More About Me personally

Music is a very important part of my life but in my spare time I enjoy web design as a hobby. Honestly, I couldn't imaging myself doing anything other than music but if music was never my path, I enjoy web design enough to say I would have probably been a full time web designer. I am considered a down to earth individual who's personally is sprinkled with a little bit of this, a little bit of that. I am layed back for the most part and may often be in my chill mode but don't get me wrong, I know how to turn up when there is a need. (smile) I don't hang out. No clubs, no partying. My idea of fun might be a good movie or documentary and a nice dinner. My movie choices are suspense, thriller, horror but I enjoy a good drama or sometimes comedy. I enjoy retro shows like Goodtimes Sandford and Son and a few others. People often ask questions about my personal life but I am very guarded with certain aspects of my life.
